I read the Martin’s Luther King Jr biography and I decided to write some things for him.
Martin Luther King was born at January 15, 1929 and die at April 4 1968. He was one of the pivotal leaders of the American civil rights movement. He became a civil rights activist early in his career. With the speech “I Have a Dream” raised public consciousness of the civil rights movement and established himself as one of the greatest orators in U.S. history. In 1964, King became the youngest person to receive the Nobel Peace Prize for his efforts to end segregation and racial discrimination through civil disobedience and other non-violent means.
King was assassinated on April 4, 1968, in Memphis, Tennessee.
In the first place he spoke about the Emancipation Proclamation called light of hope for all Negro slaves. But 100 years later the negro has not his freedom ,he is wronged, he is poor .The promises that the American people had to keep was that all people black and white must to had unalienable rights in their life , freedom and the same opportunities.
He said that even the American did not keep the promises now is the time to make real the promises of democracy, the time of racial justice. And this justice be a reality for all of God's children.
He said that be wrong the nation to overlook the urgency of the moment. The fights will make stronger and this year is not the end but the begging of these fights until the justice come.
It consulted the persons do not fight for rights via the animosity and physical violence. He said that there are people that fight with Negron.
He spoke about his dream that will come the time that black and white children will sit together at the table of brotherhood.
He had a dream that the freedom and justice won’t late to come.
He had a dream that the black people won’t be judged by the color of their skin but but by the content of their character.
These dreams was his hopes and believe them.
